국제 로봇 올림픽
국제 로봇 올림픽 ( INTERNATIONAL ROBOT OLYMPIAD Committee: IROC)은 세계에서 매년 열리는 로봇 대회중 큰 대회중의 하나이다. IRO에 가입된 38개국의 나라에서 예선전를 통과한 500명이상의 청소년들이 참석한다. 참가자들은 아주 엄격히 관리되는 시간제한 안에서 자신들의 로봇을 만든다. 또한 IRO에서 준 과제를 해결하기 위해 팀원들과 협력하여야만 한다. 이들은 알고리즘을 이용한 조직적 사고를 함으로써 21세기가 필요로하는 4C ( Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, Creativity) 를 갖춘 차세대로 자랄수 있다.
